Awesome time killing game. Only problem I have with it is you make us "wake the tree" and then your "teammates" only beat one level each so I have to beat 2. I should get more prizes if I beat 2 or more challenges. Other than that, I have only had minimal glitches and enjoy this game. Glitches are always in the tree part. Very few ads and that's only if you want a little help. It's not a "pay to play" game like a lot of the others are.
Update: After I wrote this review, the "receiving of lives" feature seemed to improve for a little while (again, suspicious), but it's back to how it was before. Also, it has become exceptionally difficult to pass levels. This is still my go-to gaming app when I have a minute, but that it takes days to pass one level is making me consider uninstalling. Something you play for fun shouldn't require such extreme effort for so little progress. A game I play to retreat a moment from the stresses of life do not need to add to the frustrations from which I'm trying to briefly give my mind a break. Initial review: One of the only "time-killers" I play. I've liked this game for several years, but recently I've noticed a couple of things. When I have my finger on the shooting bubble aiming it, it seems to release on it's own fairly frequently. The other is, every time I log on, I send lives, but I virtually *never* receive any anymore. I can't imagine that all of a sudden players have gone from sending lives all the time to never. It just seems suspicious to me. I continue to play as I enjoy it as well as ever.
I love the game itself. High quality graphics, cute story. However, listing the game as "free" is false advertising, imho. You get excited about achievements like gold bars then realize later, you have to pay in this "free" game to access them! And the higher the level, the harder it is to beat without buying special add-ons. If money is all you want, monetize the game from the start. Or do a separate, small version that is free. Don't trick people. Will uninstall soon, I think.
I really enjoy playing this game! Love the graphics, music, sounds, etc. You don't have to spend money to play. (I've spent a very small amount when stuck on certain levels only because I wanted to proceed). The game is challenging but not so totally frustrating that you want to throw your phone across the room! I highly recommend Bubble Witch 3. Fun to play!
Loved the game at the beginning. It's suddenly not allowing me to connect to Facebook to track progress, and spells that I've won. Doesn't seem to be any fix for that coming. The game also seems to drop the ads off randomly. I actually looked forward to seeing them, as it gifts you extra bubbles to throw when facing difficult levels, but they've disappeared for me. It's a shame, because it used to be very fun.
Free gold bars would be nice. Some levels are very hard. Good game, for the most part. P.S. I am really getting to dislike this game. I spent 2 entire days to get past a level, and only could do so by using my "free" power ups. I have now been stuck on the next level for a day. Not fun anymore. I like challenges, but also want to just play the game with less frustration.
Just installed the game am on level 20 and already having problems. When I lose the level, it tries to load " magic " but never does. I have to close the game and resart it. Also, when I try to buy boosters, go to customer care or tech support, it does nothing or says it's unavailable. If I had been able to at least get to tech support, I might not have uninstalled. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, so... Uninstalled.
A fun little game that's easy enough to keep you playing, yet challenging enough to keep you trying. Reeeeeally wish there was a way to earn gold bars without having to spend money, even if it were one or two a chapter. I have an issue with spending real money on imaginary items. Update: It started me over! I was at level 200-something and it started me over. Uninstalling
